How To Bypass Units

System In Service

Open the two ball valves leading to and from the system. Close the ball valve located between the intersecting water pipes leading to and from the system.

Closing a Ball Valve: Rotate the handle from it's parallel position 90 degrees clockwise to a perpendicular position.

Opening a Ball Valve: Rotate the handle from it's perpendicular position 90 degrees counter clockwise to a parallel position.

System in Bypass

Close the two ball valves leading to and from the system. Close the ball valve located between the intersecting water pipes leading to and from the system.

IMPORTANT: If the system is a mechanical aeration system, shut off power to system when system is in bypass.

Closing a Ball Valve: Rotate the handle from it's parallel position 90 degrees clockwise to a perpendicular position.

Opening a Ball Valve: Rotate the handle from it's perpendicular position 90 degrees counter clockwise to a parallel position.
